Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering came into being in the year 2010 and the first batch of Mechanical Engineers graduated in the year 2014. It has highly qualified and well experienced faculty members with a blend of academic and R&D exposure. Over the years, the Department has acquired massive infrastructure in all laboratories and workshop. The Department has all the inbuilt infrastructure and excellent facilities to pursue academic studies in Mechanical Engineering. At present it offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various branches of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. The Department is equipped with Welding Institute, laboratory and workshop facilities with modern sophisticated equipment to carry out research in all areas related to Mechanical Engineering. A Degree in Mechanical Engineering is tha basis for a carrer in a profession that offers an extremely wide choice of employment.
